The Three Isles Tour allows you to discover the wonders of three Scottish islands in one day! You will set off by bus, taking you through the stunning scenery of the Isle of Mull. You'll hear fascinating commentary about the beautiful area you're travelling through and the history of the Island. As you arrive at Fionnphort, you will board the boat and head to the Isle of Staffa with the opportunity to visit the amazing Fingal's Cave and the chance to see its nesting puffins (from approx. May to October). Next, you will sail south to the Isle of Iona. See Iona Abbey, the Reilig Oran and soak up the peace and tranquility of this beautiful Island.
The tour runs daily, Monday to Sunday from Oban and departs at 09:55. Please exchange your online voucher at the West Coast Motors/Tours shop in Oban.
*Sailings and landings are subject to favorable sea and weather conditions.
**Food outlets are available on the CalMac ferry crossing from Oban to Mull and also on the Isle of Iona. You may wish to bring a packed lunch for the other legs of the tour.
Three Isles Tour Itinerary
Before you set off, pick up your tickets from our West Coast Motors Tour Shop at 17 George Street, Oban, PA34 5RU. We are open from 08:30 to 17:30, 7 days per week. Our shop is just five minutes from Oban ferry terminal.
- 09:30 Be at Oban ferry terminal ready to board
- 09:55 Ferry sails from Oban to Craignure, Mull
- 10:41 Arrive in Craignure, Mull
- 10:55 Depart Craignure by coach for a tour of Mull
- 12:15 Arrive at Fionnphort
One hour on Staffa and approx. two hours on Iona
- 17:15 Depart Iona (no later than)
- 17:45 Depart Fionnphort
- 19:00 Arrive Craignure
- 19:25 Boarding at Craignure for the return ferry to Oban
- 19:35 Ferry departs Craignure
- 20:21 Ferry arrives back in Oban
